Terry, I sure wish I could have got this to you before your book on the 27th Louisiana Infantry was published but as always I seem a day late and a dollar short. Anyway, I have located a picture of Sgt. Dawson A. Cole, Company B and his wife Margaret Hall Cole.

It is a post war family type picture showing not only him but a man named Isaac Hall. As you know there was an Isaac Hall in Company E of the 27th. I think its a good guess this man is the brother of Sgt. D.A. Cole's wife. Whether or not he is the Isaac Hall of Company E, I can only speculate at this time. I looked at your bio notes for Isaac Hall and it didn't say anything about a sister (grin) but you do have some good info on him. I will try to track this down and see if we just added two more men to your list of pics of 27th LA. veterans or just one.
