Does any one have information as to where the Confederate dead south of Mansfield/Pleasant Hill, and north of Alexandria were buried? I am researching the battles of Monett's Ferry, as well as the rear guard action around Cloutierville. I have personally found all the cemeteries that I could find using topographical maps, etc., and have walked them all, but none of them produce any Confederate grave markers. Does any one know what happened to those Confederates between April 9th and April 24th that were K.I.A., or died later from wounds?
