Does anyone know if the Confederate Memorial Hall in New Orleans is still in operation?

I sent a fax a month ago and have not received a reply.

If this is no longer in operation, where is a good place to conduct research into Louisiana Confederate Infantry units? Specifically the 1st Regiment (Blanchard).
