Thanks for alerting us Jim, and I just learned a couple quirks:

Although I see no "wild card" instructions, it works. After failing to find my ancestor Peter Ficken under any spelling, since the BLM site uses percent sign (%) as a wild card, I tried last name F%, first name Peter, and got him and every other last name beginning with F and first name Peter.

Also, the reason a search for Ficken did not find him is that the ,Sr. (including comma and period) is included as part of the surname, and a search without the period does not work.

(In this unit, Jr and Sr were used to identify two of same name in same company, and "Jr" was a younger neighbor, not related. Some more common names had multiple duplications, and numbers were used)
