I read a biography of a MO Confederate soldier which indicated that he had graduated from "Major Law's Military School" in St. Louis. Does anyone have any information on this school? It has also been suggested that mililtary schools existed at Lexington and perhaps Springfield before the civil war. Any information on any of these schools would be appreciated.
