Am also researching the 3rd Missouri Cavalry U.S. my ancestor was Jesse Goodman, was in the Old 3rd Cav. Volunteers, MSM. Co. B. He enrolled at Richmond, and took his own horse, which I believe they all did, and he road along with the trains. I too would like to know more about the regiment and their activities.
