Hello, I was refered to your site by my sister Helen Shafford. We are researching our G. Grandparents, Theobald Herzog and spouce Margaret, or Margaretha Nee Ewinger, Herzog. You have been so helpful in our research. Theobald was in the civil war in co F 12th reg Mo. vol. He fought for the Union. My G. Grandparents were married in an army camp near Helena Ark. We have that information, but my question is, were there woman vol. in this reg. and would there be records of them as well? And if so, would it list who their parents were and where they were from?.It is so puzzeling to me what G.grandmother was doing in an army camp. Any help you can give me will be greatly APPRECIATED.
