Ms. Christian, I found a Fritz Borgelt in Company C 1st Battalion M.S.M. Cavalry using Ancestry.com. This is probably Henrys'brother, John Freidrich, listed on the muster role by his nickname or this could be some other Dutchman. There were 2 Williams, one was in Co. D Krekels' Battalion which I know was raised in the area of New Melle. The 2nd William was in Captain Baileys' Company(I) Mo. Home Gaurd. I don't anything about this Reg't.
Do you know what Henrys' middle name was, he could be one of these 2 Williams.
