Looking for civil war information on Albert Altman and i think he came to Oklahoma from Missouri but not sure his wife was Mary Altman and i think she drew a civil pension from 1861 to 1934 old story goes he was captured in war at some point, Don't know which side he was on think he was born about 1840 they lived in Thomas Oklahoma Custer co. in 1910 era don't know all of his kids but 1 was Sarah Jane Altman my grandmother and know 1 of her brothers was Jacob (Jake) Altman if anyone could help identify him and what company and regiment he was in i will order his army records from this site ,it would be appreciated
