George's mother was Mary Ann Fristoe. John McCorkle's mother was Nancy Fristoe. Mary and Nancy Fristoe were 1st cousins. Mary Ann Fristoe and Bersheba Leighton Fristoe were 1st cousins. Bersheba, of course, was Cole's mother.
The Shepherd family connects to the Wells, Flannery, Flannery/Pennington, Hudspeth, Harris... There doesn't, at this point, seem to be a direct connection, but they can be bridged. [This is still a work in progress.]
