Looking at the census info from 1850 and 1860 it appears that Paulina Crump is living (alone age 37) in Independence MO in 1860 and Samuel T Crump and 2 of his sisters are living in Sni A Bar Twsp Jackson County MO with grandmother Jane Crump (then aged 62) so it would seem that the Quantrill organizational meeting was likely held on the Daniel (grandpa) Crump/Jane Crump farm not Samuel T Crump's property if it was held where John T Crump was living.

It is interesting to note that there is also a listing for a free mulatto woman Clarinda Crump (born KY) in Kansas City with 4 mulatto children. I do not find any Crump's of Jackson County as slave holders in either 1850 or 1860. A William Cox (father of Paulina ???) is a slave holder in 1850 in Blue Twsp Jackson Co MO.
