I am doing research for a man from Nebraska who is wanting info. on his ancestor, John Q. James, who was a Confederate Pvt. who served in a Missoiri unit under Gen. Price. John James was born 12/15/1825 in Ohio and died 8/25/1895 in Otoe, Neb.He is listed in the 1850 census for Weston, Platte Co. Mo. I am trying to find out what unit he served in. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
