have not personally visited Wm. A. Jackson's gravesite in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Murray KY. Supposedly he is buried there next to his wife.

My info is based on detailed family history accounts published by fellow descendants of Alexander Dameron Jackson and Margaret Elizabeth Stalcup Jackson (WAJ parents; lived/buried in New Concord, Calloway Co. KY - not far from Murray, KY), census records, and WAJ's surrender docs from Wittburg, AR in 1865.
