Re: Blackwell Station, Missouri

John:

I have very minimal information for Harden that was passed down in the family. I know he was born abt. 1837 probably in St. Francois Co., MO. His father was Ambrose Harden Williams. Another son, brother to Harden, named Robert, was also killed in the Civil War. Harden's wife's was named Elizabeth Council, I believe. A friend in MO sent me the info that he was buried at Blackwell Station near the tracks and the story about the engineers recognition of his grave. I'm trying to prove all this now.

I am very interested, however, in the other Harden you found from Osage. I think he is my ancestor also. Almost every Williams Family we had in MO named a son Harden (Ambrose was the other name they used very frequently), so I collect them all and prove or disprove their relationship.

Thanks you very much for your reply and any further information you can give me.
