Mr. Lane so influenced many Missourians to think that the only good Kansan had been killed and sent to Hades. I haven't yet ran across a report from any of the families of my border county kinfolk that said good things about a Redleg or Jayhawker, just as I am sure that none of yours had anything nice to say about any of mine.
