Here's another piece of the puzzle. In the 1860 census of Camp Branch Township of Warren County, you find "Delanie Briscoe" age 22, listed as "physician" living in the household of William Farrow (spelling uncertain), age 46, also a "physician." This was probably Dr. Rozier Delaney Briscoe, son of Dr. Warner Briscoe, and probably in training with another doctor. This is not near the Briscoe farm. Could he have been involved in all this in any way?
