In the 1864-1865 St. Louis City Directory, my gr.gr.uncle (I think) James Robinson is listed as "lieut. invalid corps".
He lived on Spruce Street, between 7th & 8th. Does anyone have any information about how to search for a person with
the above listing? I am trying to verify who he actually was and anything else I can learn about him.
