I know that Wilson and perhaps 15 or 20 of his cavalry were captured on the afternoon of Sept. 27th. There may have been men captured from other commands as well.

A large number of men 0 50 or 75 at least - were missing during Ewing's retreat from Pilot Knob to Leasburg, many of whom must have been captured.

Also among the prisoners were civilians from Pilot Knob and elsewhere who were scooped up along with Ewing's soldiers.
