Jim, I understand why. But, with all due respect, I don't agree. I don't have time to follow multiple message boards. I rely upon this board to keep me up-to-date with the issues concerning Missouri history and how it is recorded. If an author does not have the intestinal fortitude to defend his opinions, explain his bias or correct his mistakes, then I don't believe that you or anyone else should tiptoe around the subject. It's your board, you will do as you wish. We don't cut dead authors any slack, why do it while they are alive and can defend themselves?
