In my post that was deleted, I made a remark about "advancing the discussion". Napoleon reportedly said that history is the set of lies that is agreed to. If we want to contribute to making the history of the civil war in Missouri and along the Missouri-Kansas border something more than this, what better forum than this message board? What better topic the Petersen's latest book? Petersen's book was intended to rock the boat, why not in these waters? What higher purpose for this message board?
