In going through some old family papers I came across a newspaper clipping with a photo of the Witchers. The caption:

"Four Brothers who fought in the Civil War. Identical in features these four brothers fought throughout the Civil war. All are retired ranchmen of Texas. They were snapped at the 31 st annual reunion of the United Confederate Veterans held recently at Dallas Texas. From the left to right they are J. C. Wicker, 85, A. M. Witcher, 83, W. C. Witcher, 82 and R. E. Witcher, 78. P. and A. Photo.
I thought they might have been Missouri men.
