Hi all. Thanks for your previous help. I am still trying to find my ggrandfather William Meredith Morgan. I did find some records for his father George Washington Morgan. Hi was mustered in 1862 Linn Creek or County, MO in Capt Moore's Co H, 8th Regiment MSM Cavalry. Records indicate he was captured at Lone Jack, MO Aug. 16, 1862, paroled at Little Rock, Oct. 21, 1862 and delivered at Helena, ARk Oct. 29, 1862. Delivered to Maj. McConnell, Prov. Maj. Gen. The last record I found said FEB. 12, 1863 order 92 Transfer Pvt. Morgan 8 MSM from St. Louis to Lime Creek to join a regiment.

I have lost him from there as our family bible says he died in Oct. 1863 but not record of buried in Glasgow, MO. If anyone could help me find our where he could be buried and could answer a few questions, I would be grateful.

1. What is Order 92
2. Are there any prison records for the Lone Jack prisoners.
3. Would there be any records from the Order 92 transfer to St. Louis then to Lime Creek? (I am just trying to find out where he ended up)
