Bruce,William went by Horace. He first served in the 2nd Mo NE Cav. Latter transferring to 9th Mo SS.I found his records at the Mo State Archives.John T was also captured at Blackwater with his father. I found John mentioned at a Confederate reunion at Higginsville. He stated he was in the 6th Mo Inf Parsons Brigade. I found Horace's obit and it said he was the son of Col Pretson H. Eades. I then went to KY to see if maybe he wasn't a honorary Ky Col.. I couldn't find any military history on him.
