I'm enjoying reading your posts! I recently discovered that my great-great-great grandfather, James Todd, was a member of the 8th Reg't Cav. S. M. Vols. He is listed as having died of pneumonia. Interestingly, he died on January 8, 1863 in Lebanon, Missouri, in a camp. This date is the same date as one of the battles mentioned in this thread... can't find it now.

Anyway, if there is any more information or leads anyone can suggest for me to find more info, would be greatly appreciated.
