Re: William Pinkney Mitchell- Quantrill raider?

Thanks, Bruce. I have ordered the book. I found an online newsletter which gave a great rundown on the family, treasure, and subsequent approved archeological dig. I am interested in Tilley's career as a spy, courier, etc. He figures in to some of the letters that I am transcribing at the moment. I also looked at a portion of the trial transcripts. One document, not listed under his name, was an important description of his father's being a "disloyal man" and his son Lee Tilley, as he was known, running the family slaves to Arkansas, etc.
