thanks for the reply. I am now realy confused. My findings, tho very few, show John J Barrett died of disease at Greenville, Mississippi. I lived near Greenville, Missouri and can't find anything about grandpa John. There is rumor that he was buired in the Mingo swamp but of course no proof. Another note all Barrett's within 50 miles of Greenville, Mo joined the union but Grandpa was different. Thanks for your help. PS, I have poor internet service so I might slow responding. Thanks
