Hello Barbara, I will back David Casto's reply. Book is well worth the $8. or 8.50. {Belive that is the price.} It has been about 4 plus
years since I got my copy. Good to hear of other descendents from the 8th Missouri Volunteer Cavalry. I've got a little bit on them, mainly my Biggs ancestor's who were in H and F Co's. I also found a copy of the 8th MO. Vol. Cavalry Flag {Regimental Flag, not the Battle Field Flag}.
Wrote documented information on several of the Biggs men who served in the Civil War {I'm sure not all.} and submitted it to the OZAR'KIN Quarterly. Think it might come out sometime next year. Just had an article published this past Summer about my documenting some Corrections in our Family Tree by way of 'Civil War Military Records and Pension Records' which proved to be of "Great Help" in making some Corrections and me Proving that my/our Biggs Ancestor was born a "Manning" and Adopted the Biggs name before 1800.
Had -5- Brothers in my direct line and a few cousins that served in different Units.
