However, the information I have on my greatgrandfather is: P.L. Moore, 3rd Mo. Reg. Inf. Co. B, Pvt., CSA. It also gives his enlistment date and place: July 28, 1862, Ripley Co. Mo.
Further, Porter Moore's information is listed in the Civil War Service Records of the National Archives; P. L. Moore's information was found in the U.D.C. records at State Historical Society, Mo.

My great-grandfather's name was Powhatan Lefridge Moore and is buried in Commerce, Texas.
