Great help Bruce, I will follow up on those mills you mention. Should be able to sort it out. Same with the massacre you are talking about. I didn't think Bohanon had anything to do with the 3rd December business in Camden, just seemed to be odd to mention the mans name in the next column after having posted in the first column a record of what happened at Salem, Mo. on December 3rd. I suppose the newspaper editor thought people should know what he was talking about when he wrote it. As for the first name, I will go with you. I followied up and couldn't find a reference to a mill with that owner's first name. Now I have something to work with. Sorting out the events of late 61 and early 62 when the land from Rolla to Springfield was virtually a no mans land is often quite confusing.
