I do believe I have found who this Kirk person was. But I can not find any other info on him. On the 1870 census,
there is a Sire Kirk 1815 Kentucky living with Moses Oldham in Jackson Co Missouri. This was probably him. Almost everyone in the 12th calv was somehow connected with men from Jackson Co Missouri.
