Has anyone compiled transcriptions of the various 1880's Daily Republican articles about the ACW in Missouri? I see many listed in bibliographies, some samples on websites, and I have image pdf's of a very few that were forwarded to me. However, I'm not aware of any methodical collection and transcription so that they are available to authors or the general public.

A related question is...if one did transcribe a few articles, including some from other publications of the period, where could the person submit them so that others could easily locate and access them? Seems a waste of time/resources for each researcher to have to request scans of articles then transcribe them. And too often this leads to books/articles written where the author was unaware of various relevant material.
