Thanks Bruce.. Unfortunately I can not find any mention at all in any of the writings of Quantrills former men.. I also have not had any luck finding any writings of any of Marchbanks for guerrillas.. There is only a few books that actually mention Marchbanks and his wartime exploits.. The only thing I can surmise is that they 40 men in question would more than likely be Marchbanks just based on their origin and the similarities of number sine we know Marchbanks was in that vicinity with that many men.. But unfortunately I don't think it was something Marchbanks was going to admit too after the war.. Thanks for the information again , Bruce..
