Hello!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a lot later, but I really need help from folks in Missouri who know Genealogy.

My gg grandmother was born in 1852 in Jefferson City and named Pauline Smithers.
I have absolutely NO information about her past.

She named two of her children Belle (Leonard) & Edwin Ayres (Leonard).

At age 8, she may have been the Phebe P Smithers born 1852 living with Rachael Boyer & family in the 1860 census.

So... I looked around to see if I could find other Smithers being BORN around then & there.

In 1853 there was a little boy born named Isaiah P Smithers. He DIED aged 5 years 8 months in 1859.
It seems he MUST have been a Junior and the son of Isaiah P Smithers.
SO I looked into Isaiah P SMithers Senior and he and his wives had children two of whom were named Edwin & Belle.
His second wife Julia A Mcfarland may have been Julia AYRES Mcfarland (???)
His second wife was a relation (???) of his first wife Margaret S Mcfarland (daughter? sister?)

Is anyone IN Missouri and can try and find the birth certificate of Phebe P Smithers?

I tried contacting the Missouri genealogy society but they just gave me links and no info is in the links that helps.

I am trying to find ANY background on PAULINE SMITHERS 1852 born February 12, 1852. She married Charles Taylor Leonard and they had five children together. She died on October 17, 1939, in Laredo, Texas.

NOTHING is known about her origins.

Is she a child of IP Smithers & Rachael Boyer?

Did something happen with the death of her possible brother in 1959, one year prior to census in 1960???

Is Phebe P Smithers born 1852 the same as Pauline Smithers born 1852 same place and if so, WHY is she living with a family of Boyers & Goodwins?
Is Rachael her mother? Was Margaret her mother? Was Julia her mother?
