In looking at some of the guerrilla activity still in the western counties in '64 i notice a name of Mart Rider fairly often.. In looking into it further, I came across evidence that he was a Quantrill band member.. Yet Quantrill, Anderson, Todd ect were active primarily in central missouri in the summer of '64.. Was Mart Rider a Quantrill or Todd band member or did he have his own band and only occasionally hook up with quantrill ect..
I have also seen a book by Larry Wood about "unknown" guerrillas in missouri and Rider was mentioned in it.. btw has anyone read Wood's book?..
