Hope I'm not stealing Bruce's thunder(yeah I am :>) but his thunder is too good not to share...) but your info points to Pvt. Faulkner being one of the those captured in Dunklin County Between March 9 - 15 when Colonel McNeil (Union) with 2 mountain howitzers and 200 troops scouted from Bloomfield to Chalk Bluffs then through Dunklin County. Union loss unknown but McNeil reported capturing 60 Rebels mostly from Col. Henry Clark's recruiting command.
