Joshua F. Parks was my ggGrandfather. As you know he lived the last years of his life with my great grandparents Lankford McDanald Wiles and Fannie (Parks) Wiles. In the Civil War, Lankford's father,(my ggGrandfather) Stephen L. Wiles, served in Co. B 72nd EMM, and as a 1st Lt. in Co. H 16th Mo. Cavalry. So it looks like he served with both William Fred and Joshua. I remember my grandmother, Helen (Reid) Wiles talking about "grandpaw Parks" when I was a child. Helen was married to Lankford's son Armour Wiles. Ihave some more information that I am emailing to you.
