Re: narratives by members 2nd Colorado Cav.

Try this reference:
''Look Out For Hell Some Place Soon'' The 2nd Colorado Cavalry in Missouri, February-September, 1864 in the Kansas City Public Library. This is from a journal of a member of the unit with major emphasis on the Missouri service and Price's Campaign. It is delicate and cannot be checked out but you can copy parts of it at a cost. I have access to another journal of a member, but I would need permission from their ancestor/owner to advertise it. I am writing a book on the Colorado units, being a 2nd Colorado Reenactor, which will be out in spring 2008. About 1/2 of the book will be on the events leading up to Price's 1864 invasion and his demise at the hands of the 2nd Colorado and others. It will include McLain's Battery which was attached to the 2nd Colorado and is part of our reenactment group.
