Perhaps we can share information. I think I have a pretty good handle on the ebb and flow of the different battles of the campaign so I can provide a context for you when you write about the regiment in particular battles.

I cannot copy the journal in the library because I live 1200 miles away in Washington DC. Any chance you can copy the portions that I need.

If we can find Terry Justice, who seems to have vanished from the face of the earth, he can tell you about the important part the 2nd played at Newtonia on Oct. 28th. He's an expert on that battle.
