7th Miss. Inf. Stories needed

In an effort to be sure that as many family stories as possible can be included in the regimental hsitory, I am again asking for stories on men from the 7th Miss.

What I am specifically seeking is information about soldiers in the last year of the war--From Atlanta to surrender with emphasis on stories about the long journey home after surrender, and for those in POW camps, after their release.

I know many of you have sent these stories before, but in many cases they were in emails that have been lost during 8 years of computer crashes.

So if you have family stories, new official records, letters, diaries, and any other related ionformation about the boys and men of the 7th Miss. or any other regiment in the "High Pressure" Brigade, please pass them on to me or send them to Jamie Roberts at the Seventh Mississippi Memorial Website.
