My gggggrandfather Lorenzo Dow Williams was said to have been killed Nov 30, 1964 at Franklin TN. He was originally part of the Quitman Southerns Company C Infantry. I believe I have read somewhere that Co C became a part of the 7th during the Battle of Franklin. I'm getting confused. At what point did this regrouping occur? I'm wanting to follow his 2 year tenure, and I rarely find anything about him. Thanks....
