I know it would be a laborious process, but you can always order the microfilms of the Cincinatti papers via ILL and just go through them.

I'm going through thousands of MS and AL papers right now as part of my research on the 43rd MS.

One of the collateral benefits of such research is that you always turn up tons of other things germane to your research.

If I run across (and remember!) the article by Spence, I'll send it to you, but most of my research is in war-era papers.
