My Great-Great Grandfather Elias M. Crocker enlisted in Co. D, 31MS Inf CSA and was from Calhoun county MS. Sometime around Feb 1864 he ended up in the 4th Arkansas Union Cavalry, enlisting near Little Rock. We have researched him to find out why, and there is nothing on his Federal Pension Record that indicated if he was captured or deserted, or why he went from MS to Arkansas. I do know that his daughter named one of her Children Forrest Braxton Mullins so she at least believed in the old south. If you find any information on him, feel free to use it, but as of now I have no indication as to what happened.
