That is simply a wonderful site.
I had two ancestors who were wounded at Shiloh and at least one who bathed his wounds at the Bloody Pond.
Both lived to fight again another day as they were able to go home and heal.
James Thomas Harper of the 5th Tenn. was from Jackson, Tenn. and Sgt. J. D. Pearce originally from Mifflin, Tenn. not far from Shiloh who served in the 8th Arkansas. Both could have just as easily been buried at Wesley Chapel or have been one of the vast numbers of unknowns. Instead they both eventually died of old age having lead long and productive lives.
I see you have several from Arkansas.
Would you please place this in Arkansas also?
