Not yet. I was hoping that someone over in Mississippi might have some information on the 12th to show if he was indeed killed at Sharpsburg. Then the effort is to see if it is the same one.

The family is interesting. They were unionist slaveowners. One brother committed a murder in 1863, for which prosecution was enjoined by the Military Governor in 1867. Another brother was the scalawag sheriff, and yet another was the reconstruction Bankruptcy Trustee. It's in interesting dichotomy.
