I have two men from the Mississippi companies of the Jeff Davis Legion who are buried in Georgia. They are:

Burke, J. A.; Co I; Confederate, Oakland, Atlanta
Way, Charles F; Co B; 1846-1926; Confederate, Marietta

In addition, Company G was converted from the B/20 GA CAV BN on 1 Nov 64. The men of that company were raised from Liberty and Tattnall Counties, in southeast Georgia. Company F of the Legion was transferred from the 5 GA CAV
1 Nov 64. The men of Company F appear to have been raised from Telfair County, in south central Georgia. I will post those burials, whose connection to Mississippi was by service with the Little Jeff, on request.
