I want to thank Mitchell Sanders and Alan Pitts for the information which has taken up the last 30-40 years of my life.
It feel so great to know what happened to Robert; my ggrandfather.
He left a wife and 6 children who left their home in
Wayne county,TN., and had no where to go, except to relatives and the children were all scattered out.
Several I have never been not locate, who disappeard during the war. They were two boys that have never been accounted for.
Thank you and all the work you do, this ole lady certainly
does appreciate you young folks that are interested in History and this nation.
