Jon, thank you for the information. I may have some of that already, but as you say no harm in covering all the bases. Glad you sent it on to Jamie, getting the information posted as correct as possible is our main concern. Please verify the information below, it comes from William Hadskey's report on the 7th Miss.

Pvt. William J. Thompson, Co. F 7th miss. discharged Jan. 21, 1862. ** Did he go to another unit?**

Ensign** Benjamin F. Thompson, Co. F, 7th Miss.

Pvt. John Thompson, Co. **D** 7th Miss. promoted to 3rd Lt., on last roll 1864.

According to the CWS&S system Elias Polk could also be Elisha Polk. Elisha is the name used in Hadskey's report. He was discharged and re-enlisted, sent to hospital in Rome Georgia.

Pvt Newson, I had nothing on him. Thank you again for your time and effort.
