Mark after I read your post below, regarding the Dunns in the 7th Miss. Inf Regt., I tried to find a roster where he would be listed, in Co. D. I find from Hadskey's report on the 7th that John C. Dunn was really in Co. C. Could you recheck your records to help solve this confusion. NPS also list him in Co. C. Is this a case of just hitting the wrong letter?
