Yes. Thanks. Great book, but it appears that there are no official records, rolls, minute books from after the retreat of most of the regiment from Champions Hill. After they got to Jackson, close proximity to the homes of many resulted in a high rate of unauthrized absences. Later the regiment was detailed to round up absentees in its own recruitment area. I wonder if there is any list of men returned to their units as a result.
