My GGGranddaddy, Capt. Myers of Co. E, 12th Miss Inf, marched to Camp Davis Ford, Va. from Corinth, MS, and arrived there in the winter of 1861. I can't seem to find information on where and what this camp was, but it appears that Myers mustered out here after his 12 months had been served.
Any information about the camp is appreciated.
